    • or
    • Provide it to a board member on the first assignment day.

  • If 18 or older we require the following background check
    • Failure to submit background check will disqualify a referee from participating in our program. (This is done every season to ensure our children are protected)
    • When submitting the form please select volunteer during the sign up even though you are not. This a limitation in the form.
    • Please send a email to [email protected] once completed.
      • Crown Point Youth Soccer's insuring body SAY Soccer / SAY National has teamed with Reference Services, Inc. (RSI), an Indiana based Company to funnel the background check procedure through the National Office. Here's how it works...
        1. Crown Point Youth Soccer (CPYS) directs volunteers to our site to fill out the Volunteer Screening Form (VSF)
        2. SAY communicates to the SAY Area Volunteer Administrator (SAVA) when we receive forms from your league.
        3. The SAVA approves any or all applicants that they would like background checked. SAY doesn't run screens that the SAVA does not approve, we simply archive the applicants that you don't wish to run and move on.
        4. After background checks are run on the applicants you approved, SAY will provide the SAVA with a username and password to review the results. If a disqualifying event comes up, we communicate back to the SAVA immediately as well as provide you with a listing of which coaches have been background checked for your SAYArea/District.  Once the review has been completed, you will be notified of your eligibility as a coach.
        5. CPYS reserves the right to refuse a volunteer a role in our program regardless of the outcome of the background check.
        6. All information received from SAY National regarding a volunteer's history will be kept confidential.
  • Keeping your SAY certification up todate.
    • Once your in our reffing system we will reach out to you prior to the start of the season to offer course refresher and also updates on rule changes.
