Crown Point Youth Soccer

Welcome to the online home of Crown Point Youth Soccer.

The website is a centralized site providing both club information and registration.

We are a recreational and rec-plus youth soccer organization based in Crown Point, IN providing limited travel soccer to boys and girls ages four to eighteen.  All games are played in the Northwest Indiana Soccer League which provides an excellent environment for our players to enjoy the game of soccer and improve their individual skills.

The overriding goal of the Crown Point Youth Soccer Club is to build both individual and team skills, while providing a healthy, recreational activity for all team members. Fostering an environment of learning and recreation, the coaches and trainers of the Crown Point Youth Soccer Club provide an opportunity to explore possibilities, overcome challenges and enhance each players’ expectations and desires within the game of soccer.

We offer spring and fall programs as well as professional skills development through a summer training program via Chicago Fire and/or New Future Soccer Academy.  Our recreational in-house league and travel teams play at Lemon Lake.

Registration is open for Spring programs in the month of January.  The registration for Fall season is in June.  All travel registrations are first come, first serve basis.  It is always in your best interest to register as close to opening date as possible.

CPYS doesn't want anything to keep any child from playing.  Player scholarships are available upon request with minimal explanation/proof of need.  Please contact CPYS at [email protected] if help is needed.

Why Choose Youth Soccer?

With its mix of fun, fitness, and personal growth, youth soccer is more than a sport—it’s a foundation for your child’s success on and off the field.

Enrolling your child in CPYS offers far more than just a chance to play—it builds health, confidence, and lifelong skills. Here’s why soccer is one of the best sports for kids.

1. Boosts Physical Health

Soccer keeps kids active, improving endurance, coordination, and agility. The constant movement helps build strong muscles, a healthy heart, and lasting fitness habits.

2. Builds Teamwork Skills

On the field, kids learn to communicate, cooperate, and value each teammate’s role, skills they’ll carry into school and life.

3. Encourages Friendships

Soccer is a social sport where kids meet new friends, build camaraderie, and feel a sense of belonging—both during games and beyond.

4. Teaches Discipline

Regular practices, following rules, and respecting coaches instill responsibility and self-discipline.

5. Develops Resilience

Kids learn to handle wins and losses with grace, building confidence, perseverance, and emotional maturity.

6. Inspires Goal-Setting

Whether it’s scoring a goal or improving a skill, soccer teaches kids to set and achieve goals, fueling motivation.
